合同今年到期！美媒：ESPN&NBC&亚马逊都对Shams感兴趣

09月25日讯 来自Front Office Sports记者Mike McCarthy的消息，随着Woj宣布离开ESPN从新闻行业退休（回母校圣博纳旺蒂尔大学担任男子篮球项目总经理），他曾经的徒弟Shams成为NBA爆料界最出色的记者。

据此前消息，ESPN预计将对Shams发起追求。多位消息人士透露，NBC环球也在关注Shams，Amazon（亚马逊）也对Shams感兴趣，这两家体育媒体巨头都将在2025-26赛季开始和ESPN分享NBA转播版权。

数位消息人士称，Shams和他的追求者之间的兴趣还处于早期阶段，就像之前杰森-凯尔西（前费城老鹰中锋，NFL传奇球员，已退役）和比尔-比利切克（NFL传奇教头，本赛季没执教）。

“他（Shams）现在正在和每个人谈判，”一位消息人士透露，Shams和The Athletic、Fanduel的合同今年到期。

Mike McCarthy表示，记住这一点：The Athletic不会轻易让Shams离开。自从2018年从雅虎体育跳槽以来，Shams一直是The Athletic篮球报道的重要组成部分。《纽约时报》（收购了The Athletic）的认可对任何记者而言都是一种诱惑，他可能留在The Athletic进行书面报道，和Prime（亚马逊视频）或NBC签约担任一个出镜角色。
